1. Introduction
Otherlife is a consumer AI app that lets users upload or take a selfie and generate AI-created portraits based on alternate-life templates. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information we collect
We may collect your email address, account identifier, login method, profile information from Google login if you choose Google sign-in, uploaded photos or selfies, selected templates, optional prompt or customization text, generated images, credits balance, generation history, reports, support messages, and technical information needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
3. Photos, selfies, and AI-generated content
When you upload or take a photo, the image is sent to our servers and service providers so the selected AI generation can be created. The generated result may be stored in your account so you can view, download, share, report, reuse, or delete it later.
4. How we use information
We use information to create AI-generated images, manage accounts, manage credits, save and display your generated lives, provide customer support, process reports, prevent abuse, improve reliability, secure the app, and comply with legal or platform requirements.
5. Third-party services
Otherlife may use third-party service providers for authentication, database, storage, hosting, image processing, security, customer support, and AI generation. These services may process information only as needed to provide the app experience.
6. User responsibility and consent
You should only upload photos of yourself or photos you have permission to use. Do not upload another person’s image without their consent.
7. Data retention
Generated images and related generation history may be stored in your account until you delete them or delete your account. Some technical logs, security records, or legal records may be retained for a limited period where necessary.
8. Deleting results and account
You can delete generated results inside the app. You can also delete your account from the Account page in the app. Account deletion removes your account and associated app data from our systems where technically possible.
9. Reports and moderation
You can report AI-generated results inside the app. Reports may be reviewed to help identify unsafe, offensive, inappropriate, or incorrect generations and improve moderation.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect user information. However, no internet service is completely secure, so users should avoid uploading highly sensitive images or information they do not want processed online.
11. Children
Otherlife is not intended for children under 13. If we learn that a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, we may delete the account and related data.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
